Welcome to the place we affectionately call The Sandbox — where The Learning Library designs, tests, and documents the curriculum that powers this site. This environment also serves as a living journal of the site’s ongoing development, naturally producing deep, real-world tutorials focused on the technologies behind modern websites, data systems, and business applications.
In addition to technical content, we are developing a dedicated section focused on Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) for young people, including those with disabilities. This work will be integrated into our Moodle platform and will include optional accessibility features and real-world methods for assessing skill development and growth.
Access to tutorials typically requires a subscription; however, subscriptions are currently free, and there are no plans to change that. Our goal is to make practical, high-quality learning widely accessible while the platform continues to evolve.
Topics covered include Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms like SuiteCRM, Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, productivity tools like Microsoft Excel, backend technologies including PHP and MySQL, and foundational concepts like sound database design and system workflows. Tutorials are designed to be approachable, hands-on, and immediately useful—whether you’re just getting started or refining advanced skills.
Please note: this site is actively under development. Features may change, and the occasional bug may appear—but that’s part of the sandbox experience, and part of what makes these tutorials authentic and grounded in real work.
